My dog, Pheebee, is finally getting used to having my husband around. She will come up to him now even when he doesn’t have a bone to give her. She is about 11 years old so has trouble jumping. He put her up on the bed and she loved getting hugs and attention. Then she curled up and fell asleep at my feet. It was really cold this morning (1 degree) so having her there was so cozy and warm. Too bad she hadn’t come in before it was time for me to get up for work.

Last night, my cat, Chandler, even sat on my husband’s lap while we watched tv. That is the first time Chandler has really come around him so I was happy. I think it probably had a lot to do with it being a chilly evening, but now the cat knows he’s safe and maybe will hang out with us more.
